About the Uncanny Counter:
It’s based on a webtoon of the same name that tells the story of a group of demon hunters. “The Hunters”, that serve Yung – which would be “heaven” – bring with them a history of near death in their lives. The hunters were already in a coma and it’s exactly like that the spirit working for Yung – the frontier of life after death and the world of the living – possess them giving the chance to give them perfectly healthy bodies along with supernatural abilities.
We have three hunters at the start: Ga Mo-tak ( Yoo Jun-sang ), Do Ha-na ( Kim Se-jeong ) and Choo Mae-ok ( Yeom Hye-ran ) – who present themselves as workers at Eonni’s Noodles, a noodle restaurant that serves as their hideout.
One day, the fourth Counter Jang Cheol-joong (Sung Ji-ru) is killed in a battle against a strong Level 3 spirit, the highest level they had ever seen.
While his spirit is consumed by his killer, his partner Yung Wi-gen (Moon Sook) escapes and fights to find another human in coma to possess. Strangely, she is quickly attracted by the highschool student So Mun (Jo Byung-gyu) who, in spite of having a limp, is perfectly healthy and alive, something that was never possible before. As Wi-gen possesses him, Mun starts to notice weird changes all over his body, starting for a strange strength coming from him and his straight hair that becomes curly, apart from seeing Wi-gen on his dreams.
It doesn’t take long for Mun to find his answers at Eonni’s Noodles and when he becomes the substitute to the late Cheol-joong, he finds himself on a journey of battle against bloodthirsty demons, which will make him reconnect with his past, discovering the horrible truth behind his parent’s deaths and a development project in Jungjin.
The season is based on many happennings, but the main ones are with the same person, the mayor of the fictional city of Jungjin and future candidate to presidency, along with his followers.

The drama totally grabs your attention, not only for the plot or the supernatural world, but also the actors and their excellent performances.
Each of the characters has their peculiarities and knows how to be different, making you increasingly curious. I was very happy to know a season 2 will get to our hands after 16 intense episodes, because to be honest, I’m missing this drama a lot.
Anyway, today’s recommendation was something very short and without spoilers – because I definitely wouldn’t be the person to spoil your incredible experience watching this incredible drama.
The Sisterhood of the Moon is super excited with this second season, I don’t know how, but I feel it won’t be a disappointment, it’ll be a success, just like the first season. And you, what do you think? Are you eager for a second season? Or are you eager to watch the first one? Don’t forget to tell us what you thought!
